Acid Spider Black Widow

Several of these came into being in late August however only now showing them. These are done on some of the hand selected plys and the final pressed, shaped and fine sanded deck came out as a near furniture grade board. These where done in reverse unlike other Acid Spider decks and where stained in yellow first, then airbrushed lime dyes and eventually masked out and painted black. The black overpaint had to be sanded smooth to remove the raised edges. Of about 6 boards that I made only 4 made it to the final color. The others where sanded down.

Dum-Zero on Metallic Acid 1 of 1 deck.

This is a 1 of a kind board and was very complex, very delicate and took all of my expertise to make consisting of 2 weeks of painting, drying and careful application of paint masks, silkscreening, and airbrushing over silkscreened areas. There is nothing like this or close to it.

To do the Elephants green it's was printed in white, then daisy, then masked out and airbrushed candy yellow, then lime candy, then transparent green. Finished in masked out pearl, clear titanium flake and aluminum flake in various coats to give it some depth. The rail(perimeter around the deck) was painted back to the stock base black so thus it fades in not out.

Between ever major color or effect there was a coat of clear that had to dry for 2 hours.

I will post some more pictures soon.

Thank you for looking.

Transformation Seduction Prototype Prints

This was just a test to see if 1) I could draw a subtle fur pattern and to just make something odd. Who knows what I was thinking but it was fun to draw. It is just one of those prints I'd have a hard time explaining to my folks but one of those prints I did just for hoots.

I only printed 2 test prints in each of the color variants.

DJ Kamikaze Shirts Preorder

Having never published the DJ Kamikaze deck as intended back in 2008 I decided to do a shirt. They are available for preoder. However there wont be a lot. As you may know I print once and then move onto another image. Once these are sold out they are gone and wont repeat as my manifesto dictates.

A quick mock up.

Before I made the films for these the art had to be partially redrawn due to the size of some of the detail the white space had to be opened up between black areas and the certain detailed lines thickened such as the cables coming out of the fader.

History of the Flying Eye Print No.1 and No.2

These where done in 2010 but I never posted them to this blog. These are just about ever major variation of flying eyes I've airbrushed since 1999 that I thought where cool. There is some other 34 flying eyes but at the time I rarely ever took pictures or may re-release in the future as boards and prints. As it is I am no longer making flying eye decks except for a few select customers and friend that have been with me since the late 1990's.

Dum-Zero on Acid oversized print.

Just for fun I decided to print a large sized 34" wide by 18" poster of the cotton-candy-colored-circus-fun-Dumb-Zero print. Limited to 10 prints ever. Vibrantly colored, amazingly large and very impressive. Each is signed, dated and numbered as P1 through P10.

Compared to the small 8"x10" prints.
